Hello,
My name is Bill Griffin and I have written several books including "Therapy for Humans Based on a Dog's Advice" and "Footsteps: from Rejection to Belonging".
Each book is written in an informal and conversational format. They are not intended to tell you what to do, but rather to help you on your own personal voyage. Along with essential information, there are photographs and thought-provoking questions.
"Therapy for Humans Based on a Dog's Advice" was inspired by working with the organization Pet Partners since 2004. My dog Sophie and I were "Visiting Pet Partners" for a number of years. We received Honorable Mention in the nationwide contest for "Teams going beyond Limits". Sophie was a three -legged dog, she was hit by a car and nobody wanted to adopt her. From the first glance, she touched my heart and soul as she did for many others throughout her life. Through her own bravery, she helped people by encouraging them to believe they could have a happy life. I have learned many valuable lessons from my rescue dogs that I share with you in this book.
"Footsteps: Rejection to Belonging" is a result of of being a grief support group facilitator for 10 years combined with volunteering for over 40 years with Saint Vincent de Paul. I've listened to numerous people who have experienced rejection in many different ways throughout their lives. Rejection hurts and this book is intended to help you on your own personal journey from rejection impact to rebuilding self-esteem. about r
